Terms of use
Link is free. These terms are what you agree to when you use the Mac app, the Android app or this website.
Using Link
- You may use Link with Macs and Android devices you own or are allowed to use. Remote screen, Mirror and Pointer and keyboard control another computer or device: use them only on your own, or with the owner's permission.
- You need a Google account to sign in. Google's own terms apply to it.
- Don't use Link to break the law, to get into devices or accounts that aren't yours, or to interfere with the service, other people's devices or the networks it runs over, including Cloudflare's relay.
- You are responsible for your devices, your Google account and the Mac's Remote screen PIN. Keep them safe.
The software
We give you a personal, non-exclusive right to install and use the apps. They are offered as they are, and features may change or end. We may stop offering Link, or the cloud services it uses to introduce your devices and relay connections, at any time; the apps will tell you when something you use stops working. Third-party components are listed in the notices, under their own licences.
Your data
The privacy policy says what the apps handle and where it goes. Your content stays yours and only travels between your own devices.
No warranty
Link is provided free and "as is", without warranties of any kind, as far as the law allows. We don't promise it will always be available, work on every device or network, or be free of faults. Keep your own copies of anything important before you move it with Link.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data, profits or business, from using or being unable to use Link. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law, such as for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, and nothing takes away your rights as a consumer.
Trademarks
Link is not made by, endorsed by or affiliated with Google or Apple. Android is a trademark of Google LLC; Mac, macOS, Finder and Sidecar are trademarks of Apple Inc.
Changes and the law
If these terms change, the new version goes on this page with a new date, and the apps say so before a change that matters to you takes effect. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts there can hear any dispute, though you may also bring a claim where you live.
